Tailored towards young professionals, Beef Australia’s Next Gen Program, driven by the Next Gen Committee, aims to shape the future leaders of the beef community through supporting and educating the next generation.

The Next Gen Program has a strong focus on supporting those working in the industry from corporate roles and family businesses across the beef supply chain as well those just starting out in the industry after school or perhaps looking for a career change.

The Next Gen program is ideal for those:

Currently working in the beef industry
Looking to break into the beef industry
Wanting to contribute further to the beef industry through industry committees and boards
Who have a passion for the beef industry that they are looking to develop.

Welcome Event – Wednesday 5th May

Kicking off the NextGen Program will be the official Welcome Event on Wednesday 5th May. A night to meet and greet others who will be participating in the program alongside you.

Networking Breakfast and Forum – Thursday 6th May

Keep the networking happening with a stand-up breakfast. Then settle in for the Next Gen Forum where you will hear from a range of entertaining and informative speakers delivering presentations around the theme of ‘Building your place in the beef industry.’ If there’s one must-attend NextGen event, it’s this one.

Cattlyst – Thursday 6th May

Are you looking to develop both personally and professionally? This event will help you unveil valuable opportunities to advance your career and expand your knowledge in the beef industry.

Hats n Heels – Friday 7th May

End the week in style at the iconic Hats n Heels. A favourite for all the NetGen’ers, it needs no introduction. at Beef2027 it will be back, better than ever, so get your disco boots and get ready to dance the night away.
