Nutrien Ag Solutions Commercial Cattle Championship
The Nutrien Ag Solutions Commercial Cattle Championship is a permanent fixture on Beef Australia’s calendar of events where Australian commercial cattlemen and cattlewomen compete for a chance to have their cattle awarded the best in the country.
The Championship aims to ensure Australia’s beef industry remains productive and profitable by selecting judges with comprehensive knowledge on current market specifications, relevant to market drivers and modern production parameters.
The Championship also features a Young Commercial Judge’s Competition where competitors are required to judge four pens on conformation, muscling, market suitability, and evenness of the pen.
Judging takes place at RLX on Sunday 5th May.
Winners will be announced at the Nutrien Ag Solutions Commercial Cattle Championship Awards Dinner on Monday 6th May.

Young Commercial Judges Competition
Forming part of the Nutrien Ag Solutions Commercial Cattle Championship, young cattlemen and cattlewomen from around Australia will go head-to-head and compete at Beef2024 in the Young Commercial Judges Competition.
With four different age categories starting at Under 10 years and running through to Under 18 years, young competitors will be required to judge four pens on conformation, muscling, market suitability and evenness of the pen. Points will be awarded for the order in which these pens are placed. The top five in each age category will be selected to comment on the pens judged.
Presentation of awards will occur following the Young Commercial Judge’s Competition.
Commercial Cattle Sale
On Monday 6th May, RLX will host the Sale of Champions and Feature Sale.
All cattle entered in the Nutrien Ag Solutions Commercial Cattle Championship will be sold at auction, attracting livestock buyers and industry participants from around the country.
In 2021, the Nutrien Livestock Australian Beef Cattle Championships saw over 1,500 head of commercial cattle through the gates at the RLX, with the Sale of Champions totalling in over $3.6 million.
