Simon Irwin was born and raised in Warwick in Southern Queensland and started his working life as a stock and station agent before moving into the media sector where he had a 30-odd year career. Working for APN News and Media and News Corporation, he had responsibility for News Corporation’s regional publications across Australia. Simon has always maintained an interest in, and connections to, the rural community. He joined Beef Australia in January of 2022.

Jacqueline joined the team in January 2017 as Sponsorship Manager for Beef 2018 and continued in a similar role for Beef 2021. Beef 2024 saw a focus on leading the partnerships and revenue team, managing the organisation’s partners, sponsors, trade fair exhibitors, memberships, and Beef 24 Club, along with developing and launching a new online Beef Australia branded apparel line.

In May of 2025, Jaqueline Miles was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Beef Australia.
This new role recognises her experience across three previous Beef events and will see Jacqueline using that knowledge to ensure we can deliver a seamless experience for partners, exhibitors and attendees for Beef 2027.

Joyce joined the Beef Australia team in 2022 as Manager Finance. Joyce has an extensive background working in local government, not for profit organisations and has also owned and operated businesses. Joyce has lived and worked across the north of Australia with a preference for living north of the Tropic of Capricorn.

Amy joined Beef Australia in 2023 with an extensive background managing large-scale trade exhibitions and events throughout Australia for several not-for-profit associations. With over 12 years working in event operations, she looks forward to working closely with the team to help deliver another world-class event in 2027.

Bonni joined the Beef Australia team in August 2025 as Livestock Event Manager.
She has been involved with the Beef Australia Stud Cattle Committee as Coordinator in 2018, and later as a committee member in both 2021 and 2024 and has a strong understanding of the operational and organisational needs of the role, as well as a genuine appreciation for the work and culture of Beef Australia.

Bonni has also held a variety of volunteer roles at local agricultural shows, including secretary of the Central Queensland Carcase Classic; and has been an active competitor in both stud and carcase competitions.

Jack Duncan joined Beef Australia’s leadership team in November 2025 as Partnerships Manager, soon adding Revenue Manager to his portfolio.

Jack draws on experience in regional economic development, and the business development and delivery of major events in sports and entertainment. Skilled in investment attraction, commercial partnerships and industry engagement initiatives, he has led a career driving growth and stakeholder value in both industry and government.

With Beef Australia, Jack is responsible for developing and managing industry and private sector partnerships, supporting the commercial sustainability of the organisation.

Jack is passionate about supporting Australian agriculture, championing regional growth, and helping Beef Australia deliver significant economic, trade and industry outcomes through Beef 2027 and beyond.

Danielle joined Beef Australia in January 2026 appointed to the role of Event Manager, bringing 20 years of experience in large scale project management, event planning, design and delivery.

Danielle grew up on a cattle property south of Beaudesert and has also been involved in aspects of the Beef Expo since 2018.

She will now combine her experience and expertise in stakeholder engagement, supplier management, budgeting, risk and safety and on-site event management, to help shape the Beef 2027 program and deliver an exceptional event for industry, exhibitors and visitors.

Jackie Kyte rejoins the Beef Australia team as Industry Events Manager for Beef 2027.

Jackie is no stranger to the beef industry or to Beef Australia, having worked closely with the event in previous roles and supported a range of Beef Australia initiatives over the years. She brings a genuine passion for the industry and a strong understanding of what makes Beef such a special and important event for producers, partners and stakeholders alike.

With a background in industry engagement and education, Jackie has delivered a wide range of events across the beef and agricultural sectors, from research update conferences and industry breakfasts to workshops, stakeholder forums and networking events. She’s known for bringing people together, keeping things organised behind the scenes, and creating events that are both informative and enjoyable.

Kimberley Liverton joined Beef Australia in February 2027 appointed to the role of Operations Coordinator.

Kimberley’s background is in commercial property, and she brings extensive experience across portfolio and project management, logistics and financial control. Whilst new to the events space, her strong coordination and stakeholder management skills will support the delivery of Beef 2027.

Cassandra is a degree-qualified marketing communications professional with over 15 years’ experience across Australia and the United Kingdom. Holding a Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing and Public Relations, she combines academic expertise with hands-on global experience to deliver strategies that resonate with diverse audiences.

Alongside her husband, Cassandra owns and manages a beef cattle property in Goovigen, Central Queensland.

Cassandra’s dual experience as a producer in Australia’s beef industry, combined with her strategic marketing expertise, makes her uniquely placed to deliver the marketing strategy for Beef 2027.

Sarah joined Beef Australia in May 2026 as the Marketing Coordinator. Raised on a stud cattle property between Banana and Biloela, she comes from a long line of graziers. Her late grandfather, John Purcell OAM, serving as one of the five inaugural founders and as president of the Cattleman’s Union Australia (CUA), cementing her family’s legacy within the industry. Her father and mother, Jason and Haylee, also dedicating many decades of highly valued contributions to the agricultural sector, through competitive grey brahman stud breeding.

With a background spanning both Federal and State Government, Sarah brings extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, marketing and communications, legislative processes, and primary industries. Her bachelor’s degree, combined with four years working in fast‑paced political environments, has equipped her with strong practical capability and strategic insight.

Her passion for agriculture, paired with her professional skill set, positions her as a valuable contributor to the successful delivery of Beef 2027.

Netty joined Beef Australia in June 2026 as Stud Cattle Coordinator. With a strong rural upbringing and a lifelong passion for agriculture, particularly livestock, Netty brings over 15 years of experience in livestock sales support and administration with Nutrien Ag Solutions. Throughout this time, she was responsible for managing the processing and administration of both commercial and stud cattle sales across saleyards and on-farm operations, as well as overseeing cattle movements through the feedlot system under the company’s feedlot facility.

Holding a Diploma in Agriculture and a Diploma in Rural Business Management, Netty remains actively involved in the family farm and enjoys breeding Quarter Horses for personal use. Outside of work, Netty is dedicated to her local community through volunteer work and is currently developing a keen interest in photography.Netty is excited to join the Beef Australia team and looks forward to building new skills, forming lasting connections, and contributing to the successful delivery of Beef 2027

Natasha joined Beef Australia in August 2026 as Partnerships Coordinator, bringing experience across partnerships, sponsorships, events and stakeholder engagement.

With a background spanning events, automotive, tourism and hospitality industries, Natasha has built strong relationships with corporate partners, sponsors, suppliers, community organisations and regional and national stakeholders. She is passionate about creating meaningful partnerships that deliver positive outcomes for all involved.

Having previously supported sponsorship activations, corporate hospitality and event delivery associated with Beef Australia, Natasha developed a strong appreciation for the scale of the event and the collaboration required to bring it to life.

In her role, Natasha works closely with partners and sponsors to coordinate partnership commitments, activations and stakeholder engagement in the lead-up to Beef 2027.

A proud Central Queensland local, Natasha is passionate about the region, its people and the opportunities major events create for local communities and businesses. Natasha is excited to contribute to the success of Beef2027.

Sav joined the Beef Australia team in September 2026 as Commercial Cattle Coordinator. With over 11 years of experience in the livestock and beef industry, Sav has built a strong background in livestock administration, saleyard operations, and agricultural business. She spent 9.5 years working in livestock administration with GDL and gained valuable hands-on industry experience through two years working in saleyards. Sav also completed two years of agricultural studies at an agricultural college in Western Australia.

Having lived in Rockhampton for 15 years before recently relocating to a small acreage in the Boyne Valley, Sav remains deeply connected to rural communities and the beef sector. In 2024, she contributed to industry leadership and advocacy through her involvement with the Commercial Cattle Committee Beef 2024.

Sav’s passion for supporting the livestock industry and fostering strong connections within rural and agricultural communities, makes her an asset to the delivery of Beef2027.

Kate joined Beef Australia in September 2026 as the Project and Admin Coordinator.

She comes from an agricultural background and has a deep love for the industry and the community around it. Across events, communications and people and culture, her work has always been about bringing people together and making things run smoothly. Her drive for projects comes with a real eye for detail and delivery.

Kate is keen for her new chapter in assisting with the successful delivery of Beef 2027.
