It’s the seriously amusing event that divides the nation, an event that brings a tear to your eye from laughter, it is of course the Newscorp Rural Great Debate, at Beef Australia 2018.
Returning for 2018 as one of the most entertaining and popular free events on the Beef Australia Ergon Energy Stage. This year promises to be even bigger and bolder with exceptionally humorous and opinionated speakers to create a lively debate.
“Nothing beats the good old days” is the hotly contested topic with Anna Daniels, Dr Anthony “Freddo” Keating and Sam Kekovitch sitting on the affirmative side of the fence and Jodie Van de Wetering, Lehmo and Paul Murray prepared to argue the negative.
Geoff Maynard, former Beef Australia Board Member will be returning to MC the debate “ “it’s all about having a bit of fun” Geoff Said “Beef Australia is full of information, experiences and seminars and the Great Debate is about taking time out of working and networking to sit down and have a laugh.”
The Great Debate takes place at 7pm on the Ergon Energy Stage on Wednesday 9th May.
Following hot on the heels of the Great Debate, Sky News anchor Paul Murray will broadcast his popular program Paul Murray LIVE on Wednesday 9th May at 9pm AEST, LIVE from the Rockhampton Showgrounds. The broadcast will take place on the Ergon Energy Stage at The Paddock, following the News Corp Rural Great Debate.
