The Beef Australia 2021 Symposium and Seminars Committee is a diverse group, featuring representatives from Corporate, Agricultural and Government sectors. Consisting of five females and three males, the progressive group is determined to engage with and tackle the hard-hitting issues facing the Australian beef industry.
The focus for next year’s Beef Australia Symposium is Leadership. A fitting theme in a time of uncertainty both here and around the world. Out of challenging times, leaders are made, and the committee is looking forward to showcasing individuals that will lead industries over the horizon, people who lead with confidence, who have a sense of vision and opportunity.
Sarah Becker (pictured), Chair for the Beef Australia Symposium and Seminars Committee, explains, “Leadership can’t be taught, it must be shown. We believe that the Beef Industry is made up of many inspiring and thought-provoking leaders who also look to other industries to gain insight on resilience, best practices, change management and another way of thinking to bring better and brighter solutions to their own challenges and growth.”
Symposium and Seminars Coordinator Fiona Parsons said “We look forward to inviting the Beef Australia audience to join purpose-driven leaders from different industry sectors, who will bring a wealth of knowledge and leadership skills, helping drive the future of beef through creative thinking and strategy, to look over the horizon to see what will shape our ongoing growth as a leading global Agricultural Industry”.
