With under one year to go, Beef Australia and Airbnb have joined forces and are calling on Rockhampton and Capricorn Coast locals to host on Airbnb ahead of the May 2027 event, to help the region handle the increased demand for accommodation.
Airbnb connects guests with a diverse range of unique stays, experiences, and services making it possible to connect with communities in a more authentic way and live like a local. For hosts, it’s an opportunity to open up their homes and showcase the best of their region while also helping offset the rising cost of living pressures.
It’s a great way to make a little bit of extra cash as a family or between a group of friends looking to move in together for the week and split the income.
The best part? Hosts don’t have to list their properties 24/7, meaning you can activate and de-activate your listing around this event and any other major event you might be interested in hosting for.
