December CEO Round Up
Published 14 December 2023
143 days to go! And what a year we’ve had!
We started the year with our first International Study Tour that saw a group of Beef Australia members travel to the USA to experience Cattle Con and meet with international industry leaders and pioneers between New Orleans and Dallas.
We’ve seen the most competitive uptake of Graeme Acton Beef Connections mentoring program to date, an unprecedented number of trade fair applications, a fantastic response to the AMPC National Beef Carcase Competition and the Nutrien Ag Solutions Commercial Cattle Championship, and record registrations for the Suncorp Bank School’s Program, supported by MLA Australian Good Meat Education.
The Beef2024 calendar has grown with the addition of a number of new social events, with tickets selling fast. We’ve welcomed back international registrations, announced a stellar list of Australian and International celebrity chefs announced, and had an overwhelming response to partnership opportunities.
Just these few key highlights and achievements from across the year is a true testament to the exceptional level of support and engagement that Beef Australia has received from our passionate and dedicated beef community.
On behalf of the Beef Australia Board of Directors, I’ll like to pass on our thanks to all partners, participants, committee members, advisory group members and staff for the work that goes in behind the scenes in planning for a Beef Australia event.
We can’t wait to see you at the gates next year.
We’ll be sharing updates on ticketed events, competitions, and programs in the coming months so be sure to mark your calendars with these key dates to avoid missing out on important information and releases.
- Nutrien Ag Solutions Stud Cattle Championship nominations open-18th of December
- Suncorp Bank School’s Program, supported by MLA Australian Good Meat Education registrations close- 16th of February
- Nutrien Ag Solutions Commercial Cattle Championship nominations close-15th of March
I wish you all a safe and happy Christmas and New Year full of fat cattle, plenty of rain and great company.
Until next time.
