Just like that we are over halfway through the year, with plans for Beef 2027 well and truly taking shape.
Beef 2027 will once again bring together all aspects of the beef industry, including producers, processors, researchers, suppliers, chefs and other stakeholders from across the supply chain. Combine this with world class dining and entertainment experiences, including crowd favourite M’Eat Street, and you have an unforgettable week in store.
The Beef Australia team are adding the final touches to the enhanced Beef 2027 Site Plan and preparing our major tender timeline and Trade Fair opportunities.
Several of our major Beef 2027 tenders will open over the coming months, providing local and national businesses the opportunity to showcase their services to Beef’s domestic and international audience. I encourage any interested businesses, to keep an eye on our website and social platforms for news on when these are open.

Congratulations Jacqueline Miles
If you follow Beef Australia on social media, you may have seen our recent leadership announcements. For those who missed it, I’d like to take a moment to again congratulate Jacqueline Miles, formerly our Revenue and Sponsorships Manager, on her appointment as Deputy CEO.
Welcome Natalie Ohl
We’re also excited to welcome Natalie Ohl to the team as our new Marketing and Communications Manager. It’s great to have her on board as we continue to build towards Beef 2027.

Beef Australia is currently recruiting for a Livestock Event Manager for Beef 2027.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this role will ensure cattle remain at the heart of the event. The Livestock Event Manager will lead the development and delivery of our three signature cattle competitions — Carcase, Commercial, and Stud — as part of the Beef 2027 program.
This is a key position that works closely with our dedicated cattle competition committees and the broader leadership team to plan, deliver, and evaluate all aspects of the livestock program.

Beef27 Club’s Day Out at the Polo
Central Queensland’s exclusive social and networking group, the Beef27 Club, kicked off its 2025 social calendar in style, attending the Pop-Up Polo in Rockhampton on June 7.
150 guests enjoyed a fantastic day out featuring high-level polo, live entertainment, premium hospitality, and plenty of great conversation — all from the comfort of the Beef 27 Club marquee.
It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, unwind, and enjoy the first of many exciting events to come.
