Beef Australia have this week finalised their Leadership Team as they welcome aboard their newest team member and Finance Manager, Joyce Routledge.
Beef Australia CEO Simon Irwin says the organisation is excited to have Joyce joining the team at this critical planning time, with the triennial event now just over 18-months away.
“Planning is well and truly underway for the 2024 event, with the organisation’s key milestones now locked in, leading the team to deliver another record-breaking event”, Mr Irwin said.
“We are extremely lucky to be welcoming Joyce to the leadership team having relocated back to Queensland from Port Hedland, Western Australia.
“As the Finance Manager, Joyce will be responsible for the management of the organisation’s multi-million-dollar event budget and ensuring funding agreements with public and private financial stakeholders are met.
“I’m looking forward to seeing Joyce settle into the new role and help steer the organisation towards another successful event in 2024”.
Beef Australia Finance Manager Joyce Routledge says she’s looking forward to applying her skills and expertise in finance and corporate governance to this new role.
“I’ve lived and worked in almost every state in Australia, but I always find my way back to Queensland”, Ms Routledge said.
“I find working for not-for-profit organisations really rewarding so having the opportunity to take on this role with Beef Australia in Rockhampton really excites me.
“I’m looking forward to getting to know the team and playing my part in successfully delivering Australia’s largest beef exposition event in 2024”.
Beef Australia will be increasing their staff over the next 6 to 12 months, with positions opening across all areas of the event.
