Beef Australia’s 2023 International Study Tour to the USA has created quite a buzz throughout the Australian beef community.
Beef Australia CEO Simon Irwin said the intimate 13-day tour has been received extremely well with interest and seats filling quickly from keen individuals and groups from across the industry.
“As a triennial event, it’s important to the organisation to keep our community connected in the event off years and the concept of international study tours allows us to do just that”, Mr Irwin said.
“Interest and bookings have come through from all corners of the industry from breeders to not-for-profit leaders and nutritionists, meaning the itinerary really has something for everyone to get excited about.
“Tour highlights include the Cattle Industry Convention & NCBA Trade Show (CattleCon) in New Orleans followed by visits to the iconic J D Hudgins Ranch, the Beef Centre at Texas A&M University and Southwest Stallion Station before ending in Dallas with a true Texan style steak dinner.
“With the tour now sitting at more than 50% full, we expect to close registrations towards the end of the month unless sold out prior.
“I encourage anyone thinking about attending to get in touch with the Beef Australia team and lock in their seat before they miss out”.
Study tour delegate and CEO of Aussie Helpers Tash Kocks said the Beef Australia USA Study Tour has given them the opportunity to represent the Australian Beef community in the states.
“It’s important to me to be able to support and grow Australia’s cattle farmers and Beef Australia has given us the opportunity to represent and promote Australian Beef at CattleCon”, Ms Kocks said.
“I’m looking forward to networking with industry leaders, gaining knowledge from my peers and of course experiencing the southern charm from both people and country”.
