Beef Australia releases major tender timeline for 2027 event

Published 29 August 2025

Beef Australia CEO Simon Irwin says preparations for Beef Australia 2027 are gaining momentum, with the release of key tender opportunities forming a significant part of the planning process.

“In the coming months, we’ll be releasing a range of tenders that offer exceptional opportunities for both local and national businesses to showcase their services to our wide-reaching domestic and international audience,” Mr Irwin said.

“We’ve chosen to publish the full tender timeline early on our website to give potential suppliers the time and clarity needed to plan ahead, particularly around other major events they may be involved in.”

Mr Irwin highlighted the unique logistical challenge of hosting a world-class event in a regional setting, noting that most infrastructure is built from the ground up.”

“Smaller businesses in Rockhampton and Central Queensland are encouraged to collaborate with others locally or nationally, to meet tender requirements and get involved,” he said.

“Providing invaluable services to Beef Australia is a fantastic way to gain exposure, so I encourage everyone and anyone to apply as these opportunities open,” Mr Irwin said.

Tender opportunities exist across all facets of the event — from ticketing, catering, bar services and temporary structures, through to power supply, AV and staging, media and production, waste management, earthworks and cleaning.
