Beef Australia, the premier beef industry event in the country, has today put the call out for volunteers to help deliver the highly anticipated 2024 event.

Beef Australia CEO Simon Irwin said with a goal of attracting over 115,000 attendees from across the nation and around the globe, Beef Australia relies on the dedication and passion of volunteers to ensure its success.

“Beef2024 will take place in the heart of the Beef Capital of Australia, Rockhampton, Queensland, and showcase the very best of the Australian beef industry through exhibitions, cattle championships, property tours, seminars, cooking demonstrations, and more”, Mr Irwin said.

“With thousands of attendees from across the globe expected to flock to the event, volunteers play a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience for all participants.

“We are excited to invite passionate individuals in the community to join us in making Beef2024 an unforgettable experience.

“Volunteers at Beef2024 will have the opportunity to be involved in various aspects of the event, including assisting with ticket scanning, assisting visitors in the LAWD International Business Lounge, supporting event logistics, and so much more.

“Additionally, volunteers will gain valuable experience, forge new friendships, and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to promoting the Australian beef industry on a global stage.

“We invite everyone who shares our passion to register for the Brighter Super Volunteer Program and join us between the 5th and the 11th May 2024”.

Queensland Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries and Minister for Rural Communities Mark Furner said Beef 2024 was a golden opportunity to connect with people from across Queensland and the Nation.

“This event is right up there in the list of iconic Australian events and volunteering is a great way that people can be part of it,” Mr Furner said.

“The atmosphere here three years ago was electric from day one to the final hour. If you take the opportunity to be part of it you will be telling the story for years to come.”

Brighter Super CEO Kate Farrar said Brighter Super is committed to supporting our Queensland community and agricultural industry.

“As proud sponsors of the Volunteer Program at Beef2024, we appreciate the spirit of the volunteers who help bring this event to life,” Ms Farrar said.

Individuals interested in joining the Brighter Super Volunteer Program are encouraged to visit the Beef Australia website to learn more about the program requirements and role opportunities and submit their applications.
