Beef Australia, Australia’s largest beef industry exposition, is thrilled to announce Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) as a multi-event Principal Partner.
As a world-class beef industry event, Beef Australia 2024, with the support of their partners, will bring together cattle producers, suppliers, industry professionals, and stakeholders from across Australia and around the globe.
Beef Australia CEO Simon Irwin said the new long-term partnership with CBA signifies a momentous milestone and underscores the steadfast commitment of both organisations to the agricultural industry.
“With a history of long-standing support for Australia’s beef industry and rural community, CBA has consistently and proudly backed Beef Australia for close to 30 years.
“Now, as a Principal Partner for both the upcoming 2024 event and the 2027 event, CBA’s commitment will undoubtedly deliver an enhanced experience for attendees, exhibitors, and participants, fostering meaningful connections and driving industry collaboration for years to come.
“We look forward to working closely with CBA in creating an exceptional experience for all involved in this world-class event”.
Paul Fowler, CBA Executive General Manager Regional and Agribusiness Banking said the Commonwealth Bank has a history of working with regional communities and agribusinesses for more than 100 years, and was proud to support Beef Australia’s premier event.
Mr Fowler said Beef 2024 brings the entire beef community together to celebrate the very best of the sector, including its diversity, resilience and innovation.
“A great example is the industry’s ongoing progress towards its CN30 and other sustainability goals, while facing heightened biosecurity risks and a host of challenging weather events,” Mr Fowler said.
“CBA is continuing to innovate in support of our customers, with financing solutions to help producers reduce their net emissions and reach their sustainability goals.
“Along with providing Australia’s first sustainability-linked-loan in agriculture to the beef sector, more producers are exploring our first-to-market Agri Green Loan and innovative carbon solutions.
“I look forward to the rich conversations at Beef2024 and connecting with our customers and the community, while also savouring some delicious Australian beef”.
