Beef Australia, scheduled to take place between the 5th to the 11th May 2024, is thrilled to announce AACo, Australia’s oldest continuously operating company, as a Principal Partner of Beef2024 and Beef2027.
Beef Australia CEO Simon Irwin said the organisation is proud to be working with AACo, a company with a rich history in the industry.
“AACo’s extensive experience and dedication align perfectly with our mission to promote and advance the Australian beef community”, said Mr Irwin.
“Beef2024 marks a significant milestone for AACo as it gears up to celebrate 200 years of business.
“AACo’s involvement in the 2024 event will include a range of initiatives, including a new and exciting event dedicated to the company’s outstanding heritage and achievements.
“We look forward to celebrating AACo’s remarkable 200-year journey and showcasing their contributions to the industry at Beef2024”.
Australian Agricultural Company Managing Director and CEO David Harris said he looks forward to celebrating the significant milestone.
“It’s a big year for AACo, our 200th year of operation, and marking the occasion at Beef2024 is one of the ways we will celebrate,” Mr Harris said.
“As Australia’s biggest and oldest cattle company, AACo has a strong connection to the beef community across Australia.
“We will be hosting a special lunch event as part of our sponsorship, to honour two centuries of Australian agriculture and pay tribute to the entire industry.
“Our company and its strategy have evolved over time, and a key focus is now selling premium Wagyu to some of the best restaurants around Australia and the world under our brands Westholme and Darling Downs.
“We’ll enjoy showcasing our beef on the menu at that lunch event, as well as one of the Celebrity Chef experiences through the week.”
Mr Harris said that as well as recognising the tradition and history, AACo would look to the future at Beef2024.
“Beef is a dynamic industry that is playing a key role in global conversations around sustainability and climate, technology and innovation, food security, trade, First Nations People, biosecurity and more,” he said.
“They are all important discussions that will shape our industry. We look forward to being inspired and to helping encourage future generations of beef and cattle producers.
“We’re proud to partner with one of the world’s biggest beef events and to show our support for the beef community at Beef2024.”
