Keep calm… there’s only 600 days to go until Beef Australia 2024!

It seems like only yesterday that the Australian beef community were together in Rockhampton celebrating the 2021 triennial event, but now with just 18 months to go, the 2024 event is well and truly just around the corner.

With the full leadership team now on board and recruitment starting for new positions commencing as early as November 2022, planning for the 2024 event has really ramped up.

The organisation’s new website was launched just a few weeks ago, with the site now translatable into 12 different languages and fitted with accessibility tools. As the home of everything our community needs to plan for the 2024, we encourage you to take a look, sign up to our various mailing lists including job alerts, catch up on the latest Beef News and What’s Your Beef Podcast content.

Speaking of What’s Your Beef, Season Two has kicked off with some fantastic interviews with Beef Australia CEO, Simon Irwin, self-employed Agricultural Consultant, Beth Woods and Hereford Society CEO, Lisa Sharp. You can catch up via the Beef Australia website, Spotify or Apple Podcasts.

In addition to the crowd favourites like the Beef Australia cattle competitions and trade show, the 2024 event will see a big focus on our dining and entertainment experiences, particularly aimed towards our local Rockhampton audience. You’ll see the introduction of a new ‘Eat Street’ precinct and casual evening entertainment program accessible with a discounted weekly Twilight Pass, perfect for popping into on your way home from work.

We’re also looking forward to welcoming back our international visitors, be that in person or online. Our international program will see the introduction of ‘Beef TV’, a live-streamed multi-channel show with 9-5pm media crosses and all the action from center ring.

To be kept up to date with planning and announcements, sign up to our marketing and promotions mailing list today!
