Mark Howard is no stranger to the Commercial Cattle Committee, joining in 2006, he took the seat of Chair in 2015.
“My involvement in Beef Australia began in 1994, whilst working for Maureen Olives’ Apis Creek Brahman Stud in Central Queensland, showing both commercial and stud cattle. I am very proud of my role within the beef industry and being able to be a part of an industry that I am so passionate about”.
A second-generation cattle producer, raised on a cattle-breading property near Mt Perry, Mark studied Beef Production at Emerald Agricultural College, worked on and managed various beef enterprises across Central Queensland and today is the General Manager of Queensland Beef Consultancy which he founded two years ago to help other producers with cattle marketing, buying, selling and herd management.
