Jacks passion for food was instilled in him at an early age, influenced by family holidays exploring different cuisines including Australia, India, Singapore and Thailand to name a few. Starting as a kitchen Porter during School Holidays the hospitality Industry became a huge part of Jacks Life. His famous father Rick did his best to steer Jack on a different path however after jack had completed a BSc in Psychology and an MA in Ancient History at Cardiff University he began his career in food.
A string of global fine dining apprenticeships followed including time at Tetsuyas in Sydney, three Michelin star Bras and La Régalade in France, now that Jack had honed his own cooking style and a growing appreciation for the honest, local-led food that his father had built his empire on it drove jack back to padstow.
