Peter Munckton

BOQ Chief Economist

Peter has been the Chief Economist at the Bank of Queensland for almost ten years. He has previously worked at the Federal Treasury in Canberra, as well as in senior economics roles at Bankers Trust and the CBA. At CBA he also held a senior role in Group Strategy. He has co-authored reports on the Australian and Chinese financial systems that gained significant domestic and international media attention.

Peter’s ambition as a child was to play cricket for Australia. But a serious of unfortunate injuries and a complete lack of talent meant he ended up as an economist.

Brad Robinson

Sustainability Manager, Mort & Co

Brad joined Mort & Co in 2016 as Feedlot Manager at the company’s largest feedlot, Grassdale.

Prior to working at Mort & Co, he spent 12 years in feedlot management working for a number of integrated lot feeding businesses on both the east and west coasts of Australia as well as working for a large beef producer in Russia, establishing two large scale feedlots for the business.

During his time at Mort & Co, Brad has worked in a number of other roles including project management, transport management, asset management and currently as Sustainability Manager.

Jiah Falcke

President, Kilcoy Global Foods

Jiah Falcke has extensive work experience in the food industry. Jiah has held various roles at different companies throughout their career.

Starting in 2005, he worked at Lion Co as a Manufacturing Manager, then advanced to become an Operations Manager and ultimately a Supply Chain Director for Western Australia. Jiah had overall responsibility for multiple site operations, inbound and outbound logistics.

In 2011, Jiah joined Unilever as an Operations Director for Ice Cream, where they stayed until 2014. Jiah then became the SU Director for HPC/IC, overseeing the Home and Personal Care and Ice Cream divisions.

In 2015, Falcke joined Goodman Fielder as an Operations and Supply Chain Director. During their tenure, they held the position of Head of SC and Baking GM before becoming responsible for operations and supply chain across 14 factories, 72 dispatch locations, and a fleet of trucks.

From 2019 to 2020, Falcke served as the Chief Operating Officer for Kilcoy Global Foods before assuming the position of President in November 2020.
