Malcolm Wood

Malcolm joined Ord Minnett in February 2021 from E.L. & C. Baillieu where he was Chief Investment Officer for three years. Earlier he was Managing Director, Head of Investment Strategy at Bank of America Merrill Lynch Australia. Across 15 years at Morgan Stanley, he was Investment Strategist in Wealth Management Australia, Asia-Pacific Regional equity strategist in Hong Kong, and Australia strategist and Head of Research. Prior to that he was a US equities portfolio manager for BT Australia in New York. He holds a Bachelor of Economics with First Class Honours (Sydney University) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management with Merit (MGSM).

David Lane

David provides management oversight of the Queensland offices of Ord Minnett. Prior to joining Ord Minnett, he has held management and advisory positions Pitcher Partners Wealth Management, First Unity, Salomon Smith Barney, BNP Paribas, Prudential-Bache and Henderson Charlton. David has been recognised in the prestigious Barron’s Top 100 Australian Financial Advisers list in 2020 and 2021. He sits on the FINSIA Financial Advice & Services Council, is a member of the Investment Committee of QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute and of the Directors Circle for Griffith Institute of Drug Discovery (GRIDD).  He was previously a Non-Executive Director of the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE) and Southern Districts Basketball (Spartans).

David holds a Masters of Applied Finance, Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning, Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy). David is a Fellow of FINSIA, a CPA and a member of AICD.

Andrew Gordon

Andrew has been the Head of Debt Capital Markets at Ord Minnett since December 2021.

Previously, Andrew ran High Yield and Non-Rated Debt Capital Market issuance at NAB in Sydney. With more than 25 years’ experience, Andrew has had a broad career covering Fixed Income and Debt Capital Markets, High Yield, Leveraged and Acquisition Finance.
