The Events team are responsible for the creation and delivery of the Beef Australia 2024 event program of events, including entertainment, seminars, restaurants, celebrity chefs, property tours, and cattle competitions.

The following positions report to the Events Manager, with positions and employment terms subject to change.

Seminars & Tech Yards Coordinator

The Seminar and Tech Yards Coordinator will work with the Event Manager to plan, develop, and deliver the conference, seminars, and tech talk program for Beef Australia 2024 under the direction of the relevant advisory committees. 

The ideal candidate will have experience and a proven track record in planning and delivering events, seminars and/or conferences.

Catering & Functions Coordinator

The Catering and Functions Coordinator will work with the Event Manager:

  • and the Executive Chef to deliver all elements of catering (including food vendors, Celebrity Chef Program, seminar and function catering); and
  • to plan, develop and deliver all Beef Australia 2024 functions including but not limited to the Beef Gala Ball, Ladies Lunch, High Tea and industry functions.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in catered events and functions and skills in booking and managing food vendors and restaurants.

Carcase Competition Coordinator

The Carcase Competition Coordinator is responsible for bringing together the Carcase Competition, including coordinating the organising committee, processing plant involvement, nominations, schedules, grading data, judges, awards, results and presentations.

Stud Cattle Competition Coordinator

The Stud Cattle Competition Coordinator is responsible for bringing together the Stud Cattle Competition, including coordinating the organising committee, nominations, schedules, judges, trophies, awards and results.

Commercial Competition Coordinator

The Commercial Competition Coordinator is responsible for bringing together the Commercial Cattle Competition, including coordinating the organising committee, nominations, schedules, judges, trophies, awards, results and presentations.
