The Operations team are responsible for building the event, all event logistics management, and ensuring the safety of delegates, competitors, and livestock.
The following positions report to the Operations Manager, with positions and employment terms subject to change.
EVENT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Logistics, Traffic and Transport
The Event Operations Coordinators will play a key role in supporting the Operations Manager in the overall event delivery. This coordinator is particularly responsible for the logistical planning and organisation of traffic management and road closures, freight and deliveries, parking, buses and public transport, site access (inductions and car passes), cattle logistics as well as closely supporting the wider operations team with ad hoc tasks and responsibilities.
EVENT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Venues, F&B and Accommodation
The Event Operations Coordinators will play a key role in supporting the Operations Manager in the overall event delivery. This coordinator is particularly responsible for the coordination of operations and logistics for function venues, meeting spaces, restaurants, bars, food vendors and more. They will work closely with the Event Management team on furniture and fit-out of venues, temporary kitchens and infrastructure, catering equipment and requirements, signage, RSA security, food vendors as well as assist the operations team in planning camping/glamping experiences.
SITE MANAGEMENT & SITE CREW
Beef Australia are seeking experienced event professionals or an organisation to manage and provide site crew for the Beef 2027 onsite operations and logistics. As an extension to the Event Operations Team, the site manager and crew will be responsible for overseeing the build and dismantle schedule, coordinating forklift and machinery movements, freight and deliveries and other site operations during bump-in, event week and bump-out.
