The Operations team are responsible for building the 2024 event, all event logistics management, and ensuring the safety of delegates, competitors, and livestock.
The following positions report to the Operations Manager, with positions and employment terms subject to change.
Site Coordinator
The Site Coordinator will work with the Operations Manager to deliver the site build and install and dismantle event infrastructure including temporary structures and services, earthworks, cattle infrastructure, plant and equipment, and temporary labour and contractor management.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in major event planning or project management with a strong commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of risk management and WHS legislation.

Logistics Coordinator
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the event bump-in and bump-out schedule including cattle logistics planning, traffic management, freight and deliveries, parking, public transport, event control and external camping and glamping venues.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated event operations experience and a thorough understanding of project management principles with a focus on local laws and transport operations (road use management).

Safety Officer
The Safety Officer is responsible for the work health and safety of the site including risk management, contractor and exhibitor compliance, emergency and medical response management and site inductions and access during the bump-in and bump-out period.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a similar role in a major event or construction environment with a thorough understanding of WHS legislation and formal qualifications in Work Health and Safety.

Guest Services Coordinator
The Ticketing, Accommodation and Accreditation Coordinator is responsible for pre-event ticket sales and onsite box office services, accreditation, and vehicle access management as well as internal event accommodation requirements.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills with experience in a hospitality and/or tourism environment.

Venue Manager
The Venue Manager will work with the Operations Manager and Event Manager to oversee internal venue operations including function and venue equipment and fit-out, bars, restaurant and catering services, signage planning, staging and audio-visual infrastructure, first aid and emergency services and cleaning and security services.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated event operations experience and a thorough understanding of project management principles with a focus on temporary facilities, liquor licensing and food health standards.
