Beef Boot Competition

About the competition

Where would farmers be without their boots? If you’ve got work to get done there is only one tool you must have no matter what jobs are on the list – boots!

The purpose of this popular competition is to ignite interest in agriculture whilst engaging children in a fun, creative way. The competition aims to improve their knowledge of the agricultural industry, in particular looking at where their food and fibre comes from.

To take part in the competition, students are to decorate the boot template in the theme of: From paddock to my plate – why agriculture is important to me.

The Beef Boot competition is open to students currently in primary school with prizes to be awarded in three age categories:

  • Prep – Grade 1
  • Grades 2-3
  • Grades 4-6.

The top 10 entries from each age group will be on display at Beef2024, with the winner announced on the Beef Australia Facebook page during the event.

You do not have to attend Beef2024 to enter.
