Jo is an experienced startup founder. She creates positive economic development outcomes for rural Australia by connecting SMEs, corporates and governments to talent that works remotely through her company, Pointer Remote; and creating connection and opportunities for rural businesses to trade and export in South East Asia through her consulting services.
Since March 2017, Pointer Remote has enabled hundreds of professionals based in the regions to secure employment, driving over $25M in salaries into rural communities. As a consultant, Jo works extensively with senior leadership of organisations, startups and SMEs in Australia and Singapore. Working with businesses in a variety of industries including branded beef, women’s shoes and Indigenous bush foods and art, she creates connection and opportunities while supporting her clients export journey into South East Asia.
