Phoebe Eckermann

Mentee Profile

Mentor; Sam Noon

Since the age of 13, having attended her first South Australian Junior Heifer Expo, Phoebe knew she had a passion for cattle and the people involved in the Beef Industry.

Among many achievements over the past 10 years, Phoebe has established her own cattle stud, Aruma Limousin which she has grown to 20 breeding females. She’s also successfully shown her cattle across Australia, winning multiple Championships in Sydney, Adelaide, and Melbourne Royal Shows.

Phoebe is honoured to be a part of a program that carries the Graeme Acton name. With so many possible pathways ahead of her, Phoebe is most looking forward to working through goal setting and career planning for the next 5 years and beyond.

As a research officer with the University of Adelaide, Phoebe’s vision is to create a web based resource where people can explore the endless career pathways in the beef industry.
