The M’Eat Street stage will be home to daily live podcasts, local artists, community performances and culminate with an international themed band each night so that you can eat and dance your way across the globe. Think Mexican Monday, Texan Tuesday, Wasabi Wednesday, Bourguignon ‘Thursday-eon’, and Fiddles on Friday. 

The M’Eat Street Stage is your excuse to return to Beef2024 day after day and night after night.

What’s Your Beef Podcast

Hosted by Jayne Cuddihy, What’s Your Beef is Beef Australia’s award-winning podcast program, supported by Better Choices. The fortnightly program has been taking listeners behind the scenes of the iconic Australian event and around the country, chatting to anyone and everyone who celebrates our incredible beef community. What’s Your Beef will be recording live at Beef2024 on the M’Eat Street Stage.

The Mad Mariachi

A unique blend, a seamless fusion of Mexican Latin, Jazz and Western pop styles. The Mad Mariachi is a powerful and surprisingly igniting musical experience fuelled by a cross-cultural madness which defies music stereotypes. Their musical inspiration flows from the southern-most reaches of exotic Patagonia to Spain, Western Classical disciplines, Jazz, Rock, Country, Funk, Ska, Andean folk traditions and Cuban music. From the get-go, The Mad Mariachi will take you through a musical journey, though always returning to the place they adore most: Mexico.

WEST TEXAS CRUDE

WEST Texas Crude is an award winning and dynamic five piece band Performing since 2000, West Texas Crude’s main musical influences are Country, rockabilly, rhythm and blues, roots music and rock and roll, and covering some more current artists in our own special way.

Playing many festivals over the years and multi award winning performances including “Ballarat Beat (Vic) “Camperdown Cruise(Vic) “Greasefest (Qld) Tamworth CMF (nsw) Growdwater CMF (QLD) Blues on Broadbeach Festival(QLD).

Signed to German Record label “Rhythm Bomb Records” on their newest release “Guess What” selling more than 4000 copies and currently working on their next two albums for the Berlin based label WTC are busy!!

Fronting the band, Andy Dashwood never lets an audience down with his vocals and lead guitar. Andy’s passion for music is reflected in every performance and he has been invited to perform in many tribute shows, such as the annual Johnny Cash Tribute Show and recently, the Hank Williams Tribute Show as well as performing in West Texas Crude’s Tribute to the Man in Black, “A Handful of Cash” and currently running our latest Tribute “The Songs That Cash Taught Me” to sold out audiences in Tamworth and Brisbane.

George & Noriko

Known as the Japanese Blues Cowboy and the Tsugaru shamisen player, they have been kicking up a storm wherever they play. George’s lightning-fast blues licks & growling harmonica enhanced by Noriko’s percussive sounds of the traditional Shamisen (Japanese banjo) has morphed into a kind of bluegrass hard country blues with a Japanese twist. George & Noriko’s banter & easy audience interaction makes them a popular choice with audiences. with a sound that is something you haven’t heard before.

BABY ET LULU

Baby et Lulu is the ARIA nominated, ‘must-see act that will seduce your ears with its chansons’ (The Weekend Edition). Faux French sensations Abby Dobson and Lara Goodridge, and their prodigiously talented live band, perform songs in French in a celebration of love, life and passion… with a sultry, sometimes outrageous French accent. The ‘très charismatic pairing of sexy songstress’ (AU Review) have performed at WOMADELAIDE, Adelaide Fringe Festival, Sydney Festival, Brisbane Cabaret Festival, The Famous Spiegeltent, Woodford Folk Festival, as well as venues such as Brisbane Powerhouse, Adelaide Festival Centre, and Melbourne Arts Centre.

MUNSTERBUCKS

Munsterbucks, two lads from Munster, a province in the South of Ireland, and one from Australia. Tommy Donovan from Kerry (banjo and mandolin) Jack O’Leary from Cork (vocals, guitar and bodhran) and Sam De Santi (fiddle and guitar). All three of them have a rich heritage in playing traditional music both here and overseas. While keeping true to their traditional roots, they bring a unique sense of style and an irresistible groove to their tunes and songs, and they have established a strong name for themselves on the Australian folk scene. In the end, it’s basically three Bucks, who love Ireland and traditional music, having a blast and bringing the best of Irish music to your doorstep/gathering.
