Found in the Schwarten Arena, the Ergon Network Stage will host some of Beef2024’s biggest and most exciting acts to date. 

From a free family entertainment program, crowd favourite events like The Great Debate, a significant cultural program headlined by Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra, and some of the best live entertainment Rockhampton has ever witnessed, the Ergon Network Stage has a program packed with something for everyone.  

And when this absolutely jam-packed week of entertainment comes to a close, the Schwarten Arena will play host to the elegant Beef Australia Gala Beef Ball, presented by NAB, James Cook University and Mater.

Kickstart your week at Beef2024 on Brighter Super People’s Day with the greatest beef banger competition that Beef Australia has ever seen. This isn’t just any event; it’s your ticket to being part of the Teams’ flavour-packed journey to France.

The butchers have carefully crafted four uniquely flavoured sausages including a the ‘Bronco beef and onion banger’, the ‘Smack rod beef and crispy chili banger’, the ‘Bloody Mary banger’ and the ‘ Drunk drover beef banger’ and they need YOU to taste, judge, and vote for the banger that truly stands out from the rest. 

The winning banger will then carry the hopes and dreams of the Australian team as they take it all the way to the prestigious 2025 World Butchers Challenge in France.

This is a free event with a General Admission ticket but limited to 150 participants so book a spot to get in on the action!

Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra, two-time Helpmann-Award Nominated and nationally acclaimed orchestra have established itself as one of Australia’s leading chamber orchestras, captivating audiences with their distinctive sound and captivating performances.  

Camerata will be performing their Four Seasons Reimagined concert, bringing with them an international array of composers, not least of all Vivaldi, but also Max Richter’s smash hit ‘Recomposed by Max Richter: Vivaldi – The Four Seasons’, Piazzolla’s tango-inspired ‘Four Seasons of Buenos Aires’ and the British composer, Roxanna Panufnik’s sensual ‘Four World Seasons’ to Beef2024. 

This concert has become one of our most iconic works to date, thrilling audiences wherever it is played!

Long time friend of Beef Australia, Troy Cassar-Daley returns to Beef2024 to headline our Monday night entertainment.

Hailing from a long line of storytellers and a proud Gumbaynggirr/Bundjalung man, Troy Cassar-Daley has shared his extraordinary musicianship with a diverse array of artists, leaving an indelible mark on the country’s musical landscape.

In the rich tapestry of Australian country music, he stands as a luminary whose career spans three decades of a true musical journeyman, releasing a remarkable 11 studio albums with songs that are woven from the stories of our great Australian lands.

This project is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.

Apart from being some the most important country music artists in Australia, they all had their country music careers significantly boosted by winning the Star Maker. At Beef2024 come reflect on the years of Australia’s best known and most successful talent quest for young Australian country music singers. 

Hosted by the coolest couple in country, the 2007 Star Maker winner and multi–Golden Guitar Songstress Kirsty Lee Akers will joined by her husband Jesse Anderson, both who’ve gained fans across the country with their much-loved appearance on Channel 9’s ‘The Block’.

**Update Notice**

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Kaylee Bell can’t fly from Nashville to open for The Wolfe Brothers this Thursday; However we are excited to announce that Fanny Lumsden will replace her. 

It has been an amazing 12 year ride for The Wolfe Brothers.

They first found fame on Australia’s Got Talent, and after placing second they were signed to a management company, followed by a recording contract and then were hired by Lee Kernaghan to open all of his shows and also to play in his band, a working relationship that lasted 10 years.

After what the brothers describe as the best possible apprenticeship any band could have and learning so much from Lee The Wolfe Brothers have achieved over their career four #1 and two #2 ARIA Country Albums that have delivered 19 #1 singles on the National Country Music Chart.

With nine Golden Guitars under their belt and 4 ARIA nominations they are now Australia’s most awarded country rock duo in history.
