Adam Bonner is a Senior Agribusiness Relationship Manager at Bendigo Bank based out of the Toowoomba office, where he has worked for just over 12 months. Previous to this, Adam was an Agribusiness Manager at NAB in Emerald, Central Queensland.
Adam was raised on a cattle property, east of Stanthorpe, Queensland, before completing a commerce and business management degree at the University of Queensland. Soon after, he commenced his working career as an auditor at KPMG in Brisbane, but after three years decided to combine his passion of agriculture and financial skillset to pursue a career in agribusiness banking.
With a deep appreciation for the operational realities of farming, Adam combines financial expertise with a genuine understanding of on-farm decision-making. He is particularly interested in the intersection of technology and agriculture, including the use of AI and data-driven tools to improve efficiency, risk management, and long-term profitability for producers.
Adam is passionate about strengthening the future of Australian agriculture by empowering the next generation of farmers. He actively explores ways to reduce barriers to entry, improve financial literacy, and support succession planning within family farming businesses.
In 2025, Adam and his wife purchased part of the family farm near Stanthorpe and are in the early stages of developing their own agricultural enterprise.
