Beef Australia 2012 and its sponsors have prepared a packed program of breakfasts, lunches and dinners for the public to gain insights from some of the industry's leading minds, as well as some of Australia's highest achievers from different walks of life.

The keynote speaker is JBS Australia’s new chief executive officer Andre Nogueira.Mr Nogueira, 42, was the head of corporate banking for the Bank of Brazil in its New York and Sao Paulo offices before joining JBS-USA as chief financial officer. Mr Nogueria comes to Australia on the back of JBS SA reporting strong revenue growth in its US and Australian beef operations in 2011. For the purposes of financial reporting, the Australian operations are combined with the US beef division. US Beef, including Australia, provided revenue of $16.5 billion for the year, an increase of 25.6pc on the previous year.
