Educational Tours

Primary schools have the opportunity to visit the extensive trade fair and cattle exhibits during Beef Australia 2012. Entry to the grounds will be free for all school groups participating in the tours.

Volunteers and North Rockhampton High School Year 12 tourism students have again been given the opportunity to demonstrate their tour guiding skills for Beef Australia 2012 and will make the tour interesting and informative for students.

Tours will be conducted Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, May 8-11.

In the past guided tours have taken two hours but last Beef Australia many schools found they need a whole day to fit in the many activities and performances.

Tour guides times will be discussed when booking in your school for a tour.  Alternatively a self-guiding flyer can be used to self pace the event.
