Hometown/station: Myanga Angus Stud, Crookwell NSW
Role in the industry: I run my own consulting business AJM Livestock Solutions, where I provide consultancy and a number of services to beef cattle producers in Southern NSW. I also work with my family on our Angus Stud, we run about 400 cows and produce bulls for our on property bull sale in Spring. I also fulfill a number of industry leadership roles, I am a Councilor of the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW and a Board Director of the Australian Beef Industry Foundation.
How you like your steak cooked and which cut is your favourite? A good thick fillet medium rare, thanks!

Role in the industry: Currently I work at Meat & Livestock Australia in the corporate communications department. My role looks after face-to-face producer engagement activities, including: MLA events and other industry seminars, workshops and conferences. I enjoy getting on the road and meeting the passionate producers who strive to build a sustainable red meat industry.

Hometown/station: Wonga Plains, Bowenville
Role in the industry: I am a director of my family’s integrated beef operation and manager of Wonga Plains Feedlot. My roles also include Treasurer of Beef Australia Ltd, and Councilor of the Australian Lot Feeders Association.
How you like your steak cooked and which cut is your favourite? Medium Sirloin
Hometown/station: Eastmere Station, Aramac
Role in the industry: I work on family-owned cattle stations in Central Western Queensland and I also work as a solicitor on an external basis for my Brisbane based law firm, specialising in Dust Diseases litigation. I am the Beef Australian 2009 Rabobank Young Ambassador and I am involved in various committees organising events aimed at young people in agriculture.
How you like your steak cooked and which cut is your favourite? Well done eye fillet steak.
Hometown/station: Flinders Ranges, South Australia
Role in the industry: I currently hold the position of the Media Relations Specialist for Rabobank Australia and New Zealand Group. I am originally from a sheep and cattle station in the Flinders Ranges, South Australia and my family still owns and operates S.Kidman and Co with properties in three states and the Northern Territory, producing grass-fed beef for export to Japan, the USA and Southeast Asia.

Role in the industry: I am currently working off farm in the finance industry, as a Lending & Leasing Specialist for QPF Finance in Roma. I maintain a keen interest in our family’s beef enterprise. My current role enables me to work closely with primary producers and their financing needs in the short and long term.

Role in the industry: I have a wide and diverse role as a Biosecurity Officer with Biosecurity Queensland based in Rockhampton, which aims to protect Queensland from the risks and impacts of pests and disease. I assist the industry with projects that prevent diseases, prepare for outbreaks and responds when they occur. I work with producers every day and take a proactive approach to biosecurity as it gives us so many economic, environmental and social benefits.

Hometown/station: "Barrakee", Uralla, NSW
Role in the industry: I am a PhD student and an Agricultural Economist with DEEDI. I provide business performance analysis and economic advice to Queensland primary producers. I also assist with natural resource management investment planning and advice to NRM groups and the Queensland Ggovernment. I am also investigating the potential for carbon trading in the Queensland agricultural industry.

Role in the industry: I work as a Beef Extension Officer for DEEDI, delivering grazing training and extension to producers in South East Queensland. I am also the current Queensland rural ambassador and the Cattle Council's national Beef Industry Rising Champion
