Generation Next is a new concept for Beef Australia 2012 which has been developed to provide a unique opportunity for international collaboration between key beef producing countries.
Young beef industry leaders, aged between 18 and 35, from outside Australia can attend Beef Australia 2012 as part of Generation Next, and work in an official volunteer capacity at the event if they so choose, and/or participate in a pre and post event tour and stay and work in the industry for a period of time.
Generation Next is a fantastic opportunity to experience Beef Australia 2012, Australia’s National Beef Exposition, from the 'inside out', providing networking opportunities and enabling participants to gain first-hand experience with Australian beef producers and industry partners.
With volunteer positions available in a variety of areas, applicants can have the opportunity to work in many facets of the exposition, including stud and commercial cattle handling, international liaison, linguistics, exhibits, on-site information, tour guiding and property tours.
As an official volunteer at Beef Australia 2012, a uniform will be provided and you will also receive accommodation and meals during your involvement at the exposition.
A selection process will be conducted for the volunteer program. Please note that registering your interest does not guarantee a volunteer appointment. A representative from Beef Australia 2012 will contact the applicant.
Please note in order to be a volunteer, English is essential.
If you're interested in participating in the Generation Next Volunteer Program, you can register your details with Beef Australia 2012 here.
