The time is right for beef producers from around the world to plan their visit to Australia’s triennial industry spectacular, Beef Australia 2015.
Beef Australia 2015 is a celebration of all facets of the Australian beef industry and facilitates new trade and export opportunities by exposing the local supply chain to the global industry leaders.
To be held from May 4 to 9 next year, the event will bring together cattle industry leaders and innovators from around the world for a week of show, sales, seminars and new international trade opportunities.
“Held just once every three years in Rockhampton, Central Queensland, the event is Australia’s national beef industry exhibition and in 2012 attracted more than 80,000 visitors from over 30 different countries,” Beef Australia chairman Blair Angus said.
“It’s the best opportunity producers and industry leaders from Europe, Asia, Africa, and North and South America have to engage with all aspects of the Australian supply chain and I encourage them to start planning now to ensure they are part of this great showcase of Australian beef and cattle.”
Located in the heart of Australia’s cattle country, Beef Australia 2015 will assist overseas visitors to develop contacts in the Australian industry and view first-hand not just the beef production systems used on local cattle stations, but also the beauty of the Aussie Outback.
Beef Australia 2015 will open with an industry conference with speakers http://healthsavy.com/product/topamax/ including Australian business leaders, technical experts, producers and guest speakers from around the world.
The information and contacts gained at this conference can then be followed up at the Beef Australia 2015 exhibition, where some of the best cattle in the country will be on show.
Registered visitors from overseas will be given free entry to the showgrounds, as well free access to an International Business Lounge.
To further assist international delegates to Beef Australia 2015, the Queensland Government in partnership with the Australian Trade Commission will be hosting a free business matching program called “Handshakes”, which includes language translation support.
“Handshakes provides an ideal opportunity for international agribusiness companies to meet face to face with Australian enterprises and livestock specialists to explore business prospects,” Mr Angus said.
“Beef Australia 2015 exhibition is not just limited to the show ring, seminar rooms and social functions; Beef Australia 2015 is an event like no other that every cattleman must experience.”
