Australia's national beef exposition is one of the world's great beef cattle events and is held just once every three years in Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia. The next event will be held on 4-9 May 2015.
The Beef Australia 2012 exposition attracted more than 85,000 local, interstate and international visitors through the gates of the Rockhampton Showgrounds in a huge week of innovation, collaboration, inspiration and celebration.
Australia's cattlemen and women brought their top stock to compete in a staggering display of more than 4000 cattle from over 30 breeds. A huge trade fair was a centrepiece of the exposition which, in addition to seminars, property tours and displays, showcased the innovative and sustainable practices that have kept Australia at the forefront of world beef production.
Full details of all of the amazing features of the Beef Australia 2012 exposition are still available on the site's new archive area.
